The Westmere Fire District, will have a budget hearing on, Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 6:30 p.m. The hearing will take place at the Westmere Firehouse at 1741 Western Ave, according to the town.
Copies of the 2010 budget ca be obtained by contacting the Westmere Fire District Secretary at 518-456-6734, or by contacting the Guilderland Town Clerk.
"Individuals may offer oral or written comments in favor or against the proposed budget as compiled, or for or against any item or items therein contained," the town's Web site states.
The Elmwood Fire district, servicing New Scotland, Bethlehem and Guilderland, has scheduled a public hearing for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20. The firehouse is located at 589 Russell Road, where the hearing will take place.
The proposed budget is available at the Offices of the Town Clerk of the Towns of New Scotland, Bethlehem and Guilderland and Fire District Secretary Ann Wall at (518)869-3726 where it may be inspected by an interested person during office hours," Guilderland's Web site states.
