Knitting Group members work throughout the year making items to be placed on the annual Giving Tree. All of the items are then donated to local charities to be dispersed to those in need of hats, gloves and scarves during the winter months. Lap blankets are also donated to various nursing homes.

Each year at Christmastime thousands of collections are started to provide gifts for needy families, but one local giving tree adds a personal touch sewn with care.
