Schalmont’s Dan Bergami slides across home plate to score on a wild pitch during last Saturday’s Colonial Council game against Voorheesville. The Sabres beat the Blackbirds 14-7 to lock up the No. 2 seed for the Section II Class B playoffs. Schalmont plays in Thursday’s quarterfinal round.
