Celebrity chef brings Italy to Saratoga
09/02/10 Lidia Bastianich is one of the most well-loved chefs on television, and considered the face of PBS’s cooking show sector; but she didn’t plan it that way. “I was always passionate about food but it’s not something I knew I wanted to do right away,” said Bastianich. “I grew up where food was the epicenter. I still remember working alongside my grandma, milking the cows, making the ricotta, making the olive oil.
