  • ...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EDT MONDAY...
    THE FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR
    * A PORTION OF WESTERN NEW YORK...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING
    COUNTIES...LIVINGSTON...ONTARIO...WAYNE AND WYOMING.
    * UNTIL 11 AM EDT MONDAY.
    * AN AREA OF MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CROSS ALL OF
    WESTERN AND CENTRAL NEW YORK THROUGH MONDAY MORNING.
    ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF AROUND 1.5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED
    ACROSS THE REGION. THIS RAIN WILL HAVE LITTLE IMPACT FOR MOST
    OF THE AREA DUE TO RECENT DRY CONDITIONS...HOWEVER A CORRIDOR
    FROM WYOMING COUNTY INTO THE WESTERN AND NORTHERN FINGER LAKES
    ALREADY RECEIVED HEAVY RAINFALL FROM THUNDERSTORMS SATURDAY
    EVENING. SOILS ARE SATURATED IN THIS AREA...AND THE ADDITIONAL
    RAINFALL MAY RESULT IN FLOODING.
    * EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THE HEAVY RAINFALL IN AREAS WHERE GROUND
    IS ALREADY SATURATED MAY RESULT IN FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS
    AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS.
