  • ...BRIEF SQUALL OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW EARLY THIS MORNING...
    A NARROW BAND OF HEAVY SNOW ALONG AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL MOVE
    FROM NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE NIAGARA FRONTIER...GREATER
    ROCHESTER AREA...AND CENTRAL NEW YORK THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING
    HOURS. A SEPARATE AREA OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW WILL ALSO
    DEVELOP ACROSS THE WESTERN SOUTHERN TIER. SNOWFALL RATES WILL
    BRIEFLY REACH 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR IN THESE NARROW BANDS...BUT
    THE HEAVY SNOW WILL ONLY LAST FOR AN HOUR OR LESS AT ANY GIVEN
    LOCATION.
    ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY IN MANY AREAS.
    VISIBILITY WILL DROP TO LESS THAN A QUARTER MILE BRIEFLY. MOTORISTS
    SHOULD PREPARE FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING ROAD AND VISIBILITY CONDITIONS
    FOR THE MORNING COMMUTE...AND ALLOW SOME EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR
    DESTINATION.
