A couple weeks ago, I shared the story of Tracy Van Hattum and her 2-year-old son CJ. CJ is a normal, smiley baby except that he has cystic fibrosis. Tracy has spent the past two years raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She hopes research will eventually find a cure or treatment that will let CJ live longer.
To help Tracy help CJ and others with CF, all you have to do is play a little mini golf...in the dark.
On Saturday, April 14, Glowgolf in Crossgates Mall will donate 50 percent of each round of Glowgolf (miniature golf in the dark) to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Team CJ's name. The catch is you have to present a flier. I've inserted it below. Just click on the photo, print it off and bring it with you. You can print off as many copies as you want.
One round of Glowgolf (36 holes) is $8 per person and you have from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. to get your golf on. Glowgolf is located on the lower level of Crossgates below Best Buy.
Tracy is also looking for volunteers interested in collecting donations and selling raffle tickets on April 14. She said even an hour or 30 minutes is a huge help. You can email email@example.com if you think you can lend a hand.
