If you're looking to dig a little deeper into New Scotland's proposed budget for next year, the entire document is posted below. The beginning of the budget includes an opening message from Town Supervisor Tom Dolin. There are several worksheet pages included after the main budget documents.
The first Town Board budget workshop meeting was held last night (Oct. 16), but two more workshop meetings are scheduled. The second workshop will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 23, and the third will be held on Monday, Oct. 28. All budget workshop meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. at New Scotland Town Hall located at 2029 New Scotland Road.

Town Supervisor Tom Dolin filed a 2014 Tentative Budget calling for a 1.66 percent property tax levy increase. Expenditures between the town’s four main funds would increase by around $24,500.
