Yellow Dot sticks to Schenectady County

Schenectady County Sheriff Dagostino on Thursday, Aug. 9, announced the county is offering the Yellow Dot program to local residents. The free program is designed to help first responders provide life-saving medical attention during the first “golden hour” after a car crash or other emergency.

Glenville Target to hold job fair, seeking 200 hires

Target recently announced its holding a four-day "job fair" from Wednesday, Aug. 15, to Saturday, Aug. 18, and its seeking to hire 200 new team members. The store is scheduled to open this October at the former Kmart Plaza on Route 50.

CROP Hunger Walk harvests more than $50k

The Schenectady Inner City Ministry on Thursday, Aug. 9, announced its annual CROP Hunger Walk this year raised nearly $51,000, which is an event allowing neighbors to walk together to help end hunger throughout the world.
