If you're looking for a job and are interested in working at the new Target in Glenville, you'll have a chance to bid for a position.
Target recently announced its holding a four-day "job fair" from Wednesday, Aug. 15, to Saturday, Aug. 18, and its seeking to hire 200 new team members. The store is scheduled to open this October at the former Kmart Plaza on Route 50.
Here's a blurb from its press release:
Hundreds of prospective candidates will attend the public event to apply and interview for open team member positions available throughout the new store. During the event, store leaders will review applications, conduct interviews and discuss Target’s dynamic, team-oriented culture. Interested applicants are encouraged to visit Target.com/careers to apply in advance.
The job fair is being held at Glen-Worden Elementary School, located at 30 Worden Road in Scotia, at the following dates and times:
- Wednesday, Aug. 15, from 10 a.m. — 5 p.m.
- Thursday, Aug. 16, from 11 a.m. — 7 p.m.
- Friday, Aug. 17, from 9 a.m. — 4 p.m.
- Saturday, Aug. 18, from 8 a.m. — 1:30 p.m.
Our most recent story, Walls fall at former Kmart, provides additional information on the project.
