Colonie police are asking for help identifying and locating suspects and witnesses to an alleged assault and slashing that occurred on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at Shenanigan’s nightclub, 2169 Central Avenue.
Police state that at 3:50 a.m. a fight broke out an employee attempted to break up the fight when he was slashed in the face with what police believe to be a box cutter.
The employee, Justin Edmonson, 36, of Schenectady, and a disc jockey at the club, sustained a nearly 8-inch laceration that required stitches from Ellis Hospital.
The suspect is described as a black male, mid 20s to early 30s, 5 feet 8 inches, 250 lbs, large build, earring in right ear, corn roll style hair, mustache, beard.
One witness is described as a black male, mid to late 20s, 5 feet 9 inches, thin build, mustache, beard, wearing New York Yankees baseball cap, and another witness is described as a black female, mid to late 20s, 5 feet 7 inches, large build, shoulder length hair.`
