Just two days into February, the Bethlehem Central School District has cashed its third and final budgeted snow day, but administrators say there’s no need for worry unless things truly take a turn for the worse.
Should another snow day be needed, a planning day on March 11 would be turned into an instructional day, saving spring vacation from being curtailed.
If we need more than four, then I have to take days off the April vacation, Superintendent Michael Tebbano cautioned.
With today’s school cancellation, the Board of Education meeting scheduled for this evening has been moved back a week to Feb. 9.“
