SCHENECTADY – The Jets of Shaker-Colonie lost a heartbreaker to LaSalle, 6-5, in overtime on Sunday, Feb. 25.
The No. 2 seed Cadets will now play in the finals against the No. 1 seed Bethlehem Eagles.
Joe Molloy had two goals and an assist for the Shaker-Colonie while Tyler Wilson had a goal and three assists. Scott Matson and Andrew Vosburgh had a goal each for The Jets.
For LaSalle, Tom Ryan had two goals and an assist while Sam Brendese had a goal and two assists, Taylor Nitz had a goal and an assist, Jack O’Bryan had a goal and four assists and Christian Rudd had a goal.
In goal for LaSalle, Casey Boone had 28 saves while Dan Malloy had 43 for The Jets.
LaSalle and Bethlehem play on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at Union College. Start time is slated for 6:30 p.m.
