COLONIE – Police arrested a second man for the Oct. 17, 2017 burglary of NY Shooter Supply on 1593 Central Ave.
According to Lt. Robert Winn, 17-year-old Marcus A. Allert, of Rensselaer, acted as the getaway driver for Nathan Hennessy while the latter broke in and stole five handguns.
One handgun has been recovered while the other four have not yet been found.
Allert is charged with the felonies of burglary, grand larceny and criminal mischief as well as a misdemeanor count of criminal mischief and the misdemeanor of possession of burglary tools. Hennessy, who was arrested earlier this week, faces similar charges.
Colonie was assisted by the Rensselaer and Albany police departments, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the State Police.
He was arraigned in Colonie Town Court.
