NIGHT
CLIFTON PARK — A collection of the brightest young talent from the Capital District’s music scene is to perform at The Upstate Concert Hall on Friday, April 13, at 8 p.m.
Former The Voice contestant Moriah Formica headlines a bill that also includes Sydney Worthley and Katie Louise.
Formica dazzled a national television audience and made recording artist Miley Cyrus “nervous” for her own career while performing on NBC’s “The Voice.” She released an original EP last year and is currently a student at Shaker High School.
Worthley is a solo artist who blends elements of pop, country, rock and folk. She dropped her 14-track CD “Strong” last September and is scheduled to perform at Mountain Jam in Hunter this June.
Katie Louise is a singer and songwriter who is making a run through the area music scene. The Saratoga County native is classically trained on the piano. She’s slated to follow this show with a performace at Legion Bar in Brooklyn next month.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
