Learn Google Docs
Google Drive is a great way to store your documents and share them with others. It’s also a great substitute for Microsoft Word, and it’s free with a Gmail account. On Thursday, June 14 from 6:30 to 8 p.m., you can get started with the basics of creating, sharing, and exporting documents, and learn about the ins and outs of cloud storage from instructor Sarah McFadden. Please register.
Getting Started with Computers: Files and Storage
This class is intended for new and infrequent computer users. Please register for either the 11 a.m. or the 6 p.m. class on Tuesday, June 19.
We will go over the organizational structure of the computer and how to find what you’re looking for. Then we’ll practice creating, moving, and relocating files. Bring your own devices, or use one of the Library’s laptops.
Registering for programs helps us to determine supply needs. Unless otherwise indicated, registration is requested for all programs. You can register in person, by phone (518) 765-2791 or using our online calendar at http://voorheesvillelibrary.org/calendar.asp.
