TROY — It was a mix of rock, bluegrass, country and a little bit of folk thrown in for good measure on Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Rockin’ on the River.
The North and South Dakotas, an “alternative bluegrass” string band from the upstate New York, opened for The Mallett Brothers Band, a country rock band from Maine.
Next week, is a re-scheduled show featuring Syndey Worthley opening for Skeeter Creek. The concert starts at 5 p.m. at Riverfront Park.
The Troy Business Improvement District, which sponsors the free weekly concert series, is still trying to find a date to bring Almost Queen to the stage.
