BETHLEHEM – The Frisbees are flying this weekend as 30 teams converged to compete the New York State High School Ultimate Frisbee Championships.
Boys and girls teams from Rochester to New York City came to Bethlehem High School for the two-day event. Locally, Bethlehem fielded a boys and girls team while Saratoga, Hoosick Falls and Albany were also represented.
There are no refs, and the players rely on the honor system, and while competition is fierce, there are few if any disputes between players, coaches, parents or fans.
