COLONIE — Of the two incumbents running for town board, Christopher Carey looks to be out.
Democrats Paul Rosano Sr., Jill Penn and Brian Austin look to have enough votes to earn a seat on the Colonie Town Board.
In a town that boasts a population of 85,000, only a few dozen votes separate the haves from the have-nots.
Penn leads with 867 votes, followed by Austin (810) and Rosano (780). Republican Rick Field falls short with 715 votes, followed by Carey’s 675.
