Writing Workshop with young adult author, Ryan Smithson
Calling all aspiring writers in grades 6 thru 12! Do you enjoy writing and are you looking for ways to perfect your skills and discover strategies to hone your craft? Award-winning young adult author and writing coach, Ryan Smithson, will be offering a two-part virtual writing workshop at 6:30 pm on July 7 and 22. From beginners to experienced writers, this workshop has something for everyone. Attendance at both sessions is required. Register on the July 7th date for both sessions.

Trick Videography Tricks

Up your video skills with Jester Jim, a professional videographer. He’ll be sharing some tips and tricks that you can use to shoot your own amazing videos this summer. Tune in for lesson one from 11-11:30 am on July 1, work on your challenge video, then return at 11 am, July 15 to get more pointers and share what you’ve done. Students entering grades 7 and up should register to join this live, online class.
Maker Monday Club for Adults
Join the Maker Monday Club, starting Monday, July 6. You can register online, or call the library at 518-765-2791. Once registered, you can stop by the library to pick up your project kit. Take your kit home to enjoy some creative time.
