GLENMONT — “It’s like Saratoga, but right here in Glenmont,” said Sejal Shah, owner of Glenmont Centre on Feura Bush Road. “You don’t have to leave Bethlehem.”
Shah said the shopping center has a little bit of everything — shoppers can grab a bite at Taj Fine Indian Restaurant, Romo’s Pizzeria or Subway before perusing the selection of used books at Tattered Pages, getting their nails done at VIP Nail Care, having their hair cut by Master Barber Shannon Haslam at Shannon’s Barbershop or meeting with their insurance agent at State Farm.
W Boutique, owned and operated by fashion stylist and designer Wendy Ritz is the perfect place to find designer clothing for any body type, and Delmar Custom Tailor is on location to alter, repair or dry clean special items.
“It is a known fact that women who dress well perform better,” says Ritz. “They are more confident when they feel good in what they are wearing.” W Boutique carries all sizes from petite up to full sizes and Ritz even has her own “Beauty-full” Collection, which is suited for fuller sized women.
Dedicated multitaskers can even toss some laundry into the wash at Center Square Laundromat before heading to eat, meet, shop or indulge at any or all of the plaza’s diverse denizens.
“You can’t go wrong coming here to take care of a variety of life’s necessities,” said Shah. “Right here, in this small plaza, you have access to so much of life’s necessary stuff.
The centre has just “spruced up” for the holidays and Shah said that she and all of the plaza’s businesses are looking forward to the coming season.
