BETHLEHEM — Building and running a business isn’t easy. From accounting to administration, information technologies, marketing materials, mailbox services and shipping, there are a host of variables that nascent or small businesses must figure out how to manage if they want to ensure their survival in a competitive marketplace.
Here in the Capital District, smart businesses call the team at Corner Gateway in Slingerlands. With decades of experience and a passion for helping small businesses to succeed, owner Thea Snyder and her exceptional team have spent the last nine years working with a wide variety of businesses, clubs and individuals in Albany County, helping with custom printing projects, back-of-the-house bookkeeping, computer repairs, large shipping orders and creating event items such as banners, posters, programs, annual booklets and so much more. In doing this for businesses and busy individuals, they have provided a place where conversation and commerce conveniently intersect.
This summer, Corner Gateway bought Ship, Copy & More at 159 Delaware Ave. in Delmar and are excited to expand their “community of customers.” Delmar customers are now able to access all these services at the new location, which will now be called Center Gateway.
“The local business support aspect is very important to us,” said Thea Snyder, who once started an organization helping connect nascent businesses with funding and financial advice that was eventually taken over by the Center for Economic Growth. “Being a part of the community, helping small businesses grow and helping community members with the confusing administrative tasks with which they are often confronted is one of the reasons that I started this business. With a focus on customer service and our motto of “Together We Can,” we truly strive to provide exceptional service and support to our customers.”
