A Saratoga County man was arrested for attempted kidnapping on Thursday, Sept. 22, according to State Police reports. State Police in Wilton arrested Thomas M. Mould, 29, of 116 North Greenfield Road in Porters Corners and charged him with attempted kidnapping and with a crime under the new strangulation section of the penal law, according to police reports. Around 11: 30 p.m. on Thursday night, Mould attacked a female patron as she finished gassing her car, forcing his way into the vehicle and assaulting the woman inside the car, according to police reports. Police said the woman fought back and Mould fled the scene and was located by State Police a short time later. Due to the violent nature of the attack, State Police are asking for anyone who may have been in the area of the Stewart’s Shop on Route 9N in Greenfield on Thursday, Sept. 22, around the time of the attack or seen Mould prior to, during or after the attack, to call State Police at 583-7010 or 583-7000. If anyone has information regarding other incidents involving Mould, they’re urged to call police.
