I’m listening to the audio book “The Good Lord Bird” by James McBride. I’m also a big fan of “Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!” on NPR. I liked “Life After Life” by Kate Atkinson and “Americanah” by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. What have you been watching on TV? I’ve really been enjoying the BBC’s “Sherlock Homes.” I am just staring “Orange Is the New Black.” “Wolf of Wall Street.”
Probably hiking in Norway … something outdoors with gorgeous scenery. I run … I’m training for the Mohawk Hudson Marathon this fall. Of course I read. It would probably be a phenomenal risotto with a grilled veggie salad and amazingly delicious fruity and healthy dessert, or pizza. Julius Caesar … I spent a lot of time reading about him. The opening of the Altamont library in the train station. Also, when I got married at Thatcher Park and a police siren was blaring during the ceremony. It was the moment of, like, they’re not coming for us? Despite being a middle-of-the-pack runner … I came in second in the Dead Sea Marathon in Jordan, because, basically, no women ran. I have also been visited in the middle of the night by the secret service. As a Peace Corps volunteer in Jordan, I received death threats, and the word got back … so they came to my house in the middle of the night and tried to convince me I was fine. What are you listening to?
