SPOTTED: Colonie girls have a tough go against Columbia

COLONIE — The Raiders girls lacrosse team had a tough time with Columbia on Thursday, April 18, losing the Suburban Council matchup by a count of 21-3.

Julia Cogan scored a goal and had an assist for Colonie (1-3, 1-3) while Loryn Don Vito and Sophia Thompson had a goal each.

Ciarra Mazzone had seven goals to lead Columbia (3-1, 3-1) while Margaret Boyagian and Gabby Rivera had four goals each.

Abigail Wagner had six saves for Colonie and Julia Hawkins and Tyler Demers combined for eight saves for Columbia.

Colonie will play a non-league at Rome Free Academy on Tuesday, April 23 and Columbia will host Albany Academies on Saturday, April 20.
