COLONIE Christian Brothers Academy pulled out a 68-67 victory over Bethlehem in a Suburban Council boys basketball game Friday, Dec. 4.
Mike Wynn scored 26 points for CBA (1-1), including the game-winning shot. Sloan Seymour added 19 points for the Brothers.
Hayden Thompson had 19 points, and Michael Ortale contributed 13 points for Bethlehem (0-2).
Elsewhere in the Suburban Council, Colonie handled Albany 76-67, while Shaker downed Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake 67-44.
Isaiah Moll netted 29 points, and Bryce Waterman added 22 points for Colonie (2-0), which built a 26-16 lead in the first quarter. Isaiah Scurry’s 23 points paced Albany.
Shaker (2-0) outscored Burnt Hills (0-2) 24-8 in the second quarter to break open a close game. Brian Hayes had 14 points, and Ben Diamond chipped in 13 points for the Blue Bison.
In the Colonial Council, LaSalle jumped out to a 32-15 halftime lead and cruised to a 56-43 victory over Watervliet.
Tim Carroll and Joe DeLollo each scored 13 points for LaSalle, while Ty’Jon Gilmore paced Watervliet (1-1) with 21 points.
In a Central Hudson Valley League game Thursday, Dec. 3, Hawthorne Valley defeated Loudonville Christian 64-59.
Oliver Wendell-Braly netted 30 points, and Jonas Davis contributed 17 points for Hawthorne Valley. Thomas Seeberger scored 20 points, and Jonathan Schafer added 18 points for Loudonville Christian.
