TROY – Moriah Formica rocked the river on Wednesday, June 6.
At the Collar City’s first Rockin’ on the River of the season, the teen sensation and Shaker High School student fired up the crowd with some of her favorite covers and original music.
The one-time star on The Voice brought with her a drummer, a bass player and an electric guitarist to round out her considerable pipes and skills on a guitar. Her brother also joined her on vocals for three songs.
Singer/songwriter/guitarist Margo Macero opened the show.
Rockin’ on the River will continue each Wednesday through Aug. 8 at Troy’s Riverfront Park starting at 5 p.m. On June 13, Sydney Worthley will open for Skeeter Creek.
