SARATOGA SPRINGS — Turkuaz, the power funk band out of Brooklyn, played to a sold-out Putnam Place on Saturday, Oct. 6.
The nine-piece band walked onto the stage like a singing-breathing Jackson Pollock painting, full of vibrant colors that later matched the power of its horn-driven funk sound
The band is currently on tour in support of its latest studio album, “Life in the City.”
The night started with a jazz-inspired jam session by Butcher Brown. The five-piece band out of Richmond, Virginia put on a stellar show, rousing the crowd into motion.
