To The Editor:
As a Bethlehem Democratic Committee member representing the fine people of District 19, I have had the honor of service to our current BDC Executive Board as well as the residents of my neighborhood. I can personally attest to the integrity, principled ethics and high regard for fairness from the endorsed candidates of the Bethlehem Democratic Committee.
But, hey, if you don’t believe me, then you need to attend the full slate of candidates debate sponsored by the League of Women Voters on Oct. 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the Bethlehem Town Hall. You will see for yourself why we adamantly support Dan Coffey and Maureen Cunningham for Town Board, Giles Wagoner for Highway Superintendent, and David VanLuven for Town Supervisor.
You will have the opportunity to question all of the candidates to see where they stand on relevant issues such as future town development and open space conservation planning. You will hear why the BDC members feel they are the best qualified to serve our community.
I look forward to seeing you there.
Sincerely,
Michele Ungerman Sanders
