Chicken coop catches fire on Wemple Road (w/photo gallery)


GLENMONT – A chicken coop caught fire at 583 Wemple Road on Friday, Nov. 24, at around 7:30 p.m.

The Selkirk Fire Department responded.

There were no injuries reported but the 10-foot by 10-foot coop was a total loss.

Bethlehem police also responded and did help find a home for the remaining 18 chickens. Six died in the fire.
