BETHLEHEM—New York State troopers arrested a man on Monday night, May 14, after he led them on a chase along the New York State Thruway in the Town of Bethlehem.
Investigators say that Dominique Davidson, age 34, of Holtsville, was arrested after attempting to flee troopers for several vehicle and traffic law violations. During the pursuit, Davidson was reportedly observed throwing items out the window of his car, which was later determined to be cocaine.
After Davidson was taken into custody, he was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree with intent to sell, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, tampering with physical evidence, obstruction of governmental administration and unlawful fleeing in a motor vehicle, as well as multiple vehicle and traffic law violations.
He was arraigned in the Town of Bethlehem, and remanded to the Albany County Jail.
