BETHLEHEM – Police arrested a third person in the ongoing investigation into a July 18 home invasion on Orchard Street.
Jon Murdaugh, 17, of Troy, faces the felonies of robbery, criminal use of a firearm and burglary.
Last week, police arrested 18-year-old Jevon Johnson and 21-year-old La-Tae Wells, both of Troy, and charged them with the felonies of robbery, criminal use of a firearm and burglary.
Murdaugh was arraigned in Bethlehem Town Court by Judge Andrew Kirby and remanded to the Albany County jail on $30,000 bail. He is due back in court on Wednesday, July 25.
Wells and Johnson were remanded to the Albany County jail without bail. A preliminary hearing was set for Monday, July 23.
On Wednesday, July 18, Bethlehem police responded to Orchard Street at around 4:54 p.m.
The suspects had allegedly entered the home armed with semi-automatic weapons and attempted to steal property and money from the victim.
