COLONIE – Two teens were arrested on Thursday, June 14, for selling crack cocaine.
According to Sheriff Craig D. Apple Sr., investigators conducted a narcotics investigation regarding two people from Troy selling the drug in Colonie.
Zaemere K. Chaney, 17, was found with 5.2 grams of cocaine and marijuana in his posession. A 15-year-old male had 6.7 grams of cocaine and marijuana.
Chaney is charged with two felonies of criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.
The 15-year old is charged with three felonies of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Chaney was arraigned in Colonie Town Court and remanded to the Albany County jail on $10,000 bail.
The 15-year-old’s name is not being released. He was arraigned in Albany County Family Court.
